2. Called by the Lord

1. Concerning all the things

That Jesus began both to do and to teach

Until the day on which He was taken up,

Choosing His apostles through the Spirit

Appearing and speaking the kingdom of God,

Commanding us to go!

Appearing and speaking the kingdom of God,

Commanding us to go!

The Lord has called us from the multitude,

The foolish ones from Galilee;

He’s constituting us with the things of God

To go and spread His mystery.

2. And as He met with them

He charged them not to depart from Jerusalem

But to wait to receive the promise of the Father

To be baptized in the Holy Spirit

Receiving and putting on power from on high,

Commanding them to go!

Receiving and putting on power from on high,

Commanding them to go!

The Lord has called us from the multitude,

The foolish ones from Galilee;

He’s constituting us with the things of God

To go and spread His mystery.

3. The Spirit’s pouring out

Fills us with power from within and from without

Now we have everything we need to carry out

His will; we’re witnesses of Jesus

Speaking the word of God with all boldness,

He’s charging us to go!

Speaking the word of God with all boldness,

He’s charging us to go!

The Lord has called us from the multitude,

The foolish ones from Galilee;

He’s constituting us with the things of God

To go and spread His mystery.

4. When we complete the charge

That Jesus gave to us when He was on the earth

Anointing us so we can go and spread the word

To the uttermost part of the world

The Lord will come back in the same way they beheld Him,

We now rise up and go!

The Lord will come back in the same way they beheld Him,

We now rise up and go!

The Lord has called us from the multitude,

The foolish ones from Galilee;

He’s constituting us with the things of God

To go and spread His mystery.
